Got up one morning in July and thought I was seeing things when I looked out the window. My beautiful green lush lawn was gone. It was all burnt out, not to mention holes all over from animals and birds going after worms. I immediately called Lawn Doctor and left a message. The next morning at 7:30 I heard a noise and saw Jeff on my property spraying. Jeff told me this was very unusual and had a few other customers with this problem. I had got hit with ARMY WORMS. They came up from down south. I followed Jeff's instructions. In the fall he did an aeration and over seeding. Happy to say we are back to normal once again. ~ Fred T

We have been utilizing our locally owned and operated Lawn Doctor for years now. The services they provide are always done on time and according to a science backed scheduled series of services. The employees are always professional and friendly. They listen to questions or concerns and respond appropriately. Several of our neighbors also have Lawn Doctor treating their lawns and you can definitely notice a difference between those who use Lawn Doctor and those who do not. Worth the investment if you want a beautiful, lush green and weed free lawn with very minimal effort and time on your part. ~ James W

The service I receive from Lawn Doctor of Stroudsburg-Bangor is EXCEPTIONAL! Whenever the gentleman comes to my home to service my lawn he is VERY FRIENDLY and helpful. He tells me what he is doing at this service and answers my questions. Today, Kathy from Lawn Doctor called me to schedule my aeration & seeding, she was SO COURTEOUS and HELPFUL in finding the best time for this service based on the trees on my property. Phil was super personable, incredibly knowledgeable, and courteous. He took the time to explain the treatments and how the process works. I appreciate that they don’t push their services and instead provide honest feedback and recommendations. Company called to confirm the appointment, answered all of my questions and the tech was amazing. He even cleaned up the driveway after he was done. Ms. Cathy and Phil have both been great. Lawn Doctor has turned our lawn into a beautiful grass carpet. We had so many weeds before and now it's just beautiful grass and weed free. And that transformation happened the very first year we used them. And bonus... even my border plants in My flower beds are doing better and I attribute that to Lawn Doctor as well -- with the pests (slugs voles and what-not) gone from my Lawn there's fewer munching on my flowers. I was starting to get a little discouraged about my lawn but today Phil came to do my late fall treatment. He was FABULOUS! He was thorough and did a great job. We spoke and clearly he knows lawns. I appreciate the time he took. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw him blowing off my driveway, sidewalks, and back stoop. I've been using this service on and off for a few years now. The first time I ever had a conversation with one of their field technicians was with Jason a few months ago during my late Summer treatment. I wanted to show him some of my concerns with the lawn. I didn't get a great impression after our chat. I got the feeling he was winging it and felt like he was in a hurry. This week, they sent Phil out for the early Fall treatment. Phil was FANTASTIC! He is clearly an expert in his field and enjoys what he does. He seemed to know exactly what he was talking about. He took the time to walk the lawn with me and showed me what was good and what needed attention. Our lawn is not looking its best with the two dry seasons we've had the past two years, but he made me feel better about it and reassured me that they can help. I didn't feel rushed, like the last guy, and we chatted a bit about our personal lives too. And he used a blower to clean off the driveway and walks after he treated, which I've never seen before. PLEASE be sure to send Phil for all my treatments! He's a guy I know I can trust. ~ Eddie H

I am very pleased with Lawn Doctor of Stroudsburg. They always let me know when they are coming and are at my home when they say they will be here. The owners and staff who service my lawn are very pleasant and willing to answer any questions I may ask. They always stress that if there are any problems to contact them right away and they will return. I would never use their competitor.. Lawn Doctor is the best. ~ Margaret M

UPDATE 2026 We decided to give Lawn Doctor another shot at our yard because in the past our yard never looked better. They have redeemed themselves and our yard is looking great and plush and no weeds...and in my opinion best in the neighborhood. Not sure what went on in 2024 but they definitely have gotten my business back and we are proud to tell anyone that Lawn Doctor does our yard. Also thanks for adding back the yard sign that you were here. Great job guys! Ever since using Lawn Doctor of Bangor our lawn is so plush. In the past few weeks we have had several people comment on how well it looks. UPDATE Fall of 2024 cancelled service...this past year my yard looks worse than ever. I have doubts they came when they said. I was told I would get a refund for the one treatment I didn't get and as of today March 2025 no refund. UPDATE MARCH 2025...Manger reached out to me after my updated review and I received a refund. I appreciate this customer service. I am saddened that the lawn service fell short for me this past year, not sure if it had anything to do with new owners. For 5 years they were fantastic. ~ susan b

Great seevice! The grass is growing nice and healthy. The services we receive are early spring and fall care., liquid fertilizer , Grub preventative, mosquito and tick control.
